This page is dedicated to viewer submitted or my own footage and will focus short length compilations or stand alone videos of interesting, lucky, skilled and generally nice outcomes of matches or fragments of Hearthstone matches. If it makes you go omfg, WHAT A TROLL, lol, WTF?! or anything in that area, do consider emailing me or simply send me an embed code to your own vids. Just keep in mind it has to be long enough to give context if needed but short enough to not be boring. In other words, try and focus on the essence.
So, here's the 1st video I've decided to post:
So, here's the 1st video I've decided to post:
#1 Hearthstone Gameplay - Crafty Winz ep.1 (Winning with no cards left)
For this so called 1st episode I played a mage deck and got queued against a drood, both of us being a rather low rank to begin with.
After an interesting and overall lengthy match I ended up with no more cards left in my hand while my opponent refused to out out more of his. I knew I was supposed to have another fireball in my deck but I wasn't 100% sure. I was at the mercy of my draw and I didn't manage to keep any +spelldmg creatures on the table. Thus we ended up where the video starts. I had only one card left to pull and I still had to burn through his turn based armor stack and another 7 hp left. Fireball is 6 dmg :-s. Things didn't look very good. Before casting Fireball, I had to decide whether to look weak and maybe use it on the next turns provided he thinks I got nothing left. OR, freak him out leaving him with 1 HP and force him to play some of the cards he had left. I was hoping a creature would be played and I'd manage to copy it.
As a backup plan, I figured that unless he had some really big dmg coming my way I had it covered due to being able to outlast him having superior HP and win by fatigue.
Anyways, let's see how it went. Enjoy.
#2 Best Misdirection Ever
No comment! I can almost feel that warlock's enthusiasm on that hit and then the spinning room effect caused by the realization that you just bashed your face in.
#3 "Well played" shaman asshole
Context: A match versus a shaman that kept spamming me with "well played" every time he got lucky on something. This added to my general frustration as I wasn't able to keep anything on the table (Buzzard dies from landing on the table basically :p).
The video is pretty much an in-your-face last ditch effort and it's based purely on luck of the draw. Unfortunately it doesn't show in the video but I just happened to pull that Arcane Shot out of my ASS seconds before. I've had a lot of bad timing for the whole match duration and had to repeatedly clear his board only to end up back in the corner and all lubed up for ... the end. As you can see in the vid, it was down to the next round or bust.
#4 Trying out my Pipsqueaks on Steroids deck
After having failed a few matches and done the dailies gathered in the 30+ hrs Blizz blackout period, I've decided to make a new deck that was supposed to escalate quickly and make it possible to burn the opponent down before he manages to establish a foothold on the board. This was at the same time supposed to work with rather basic cards (since I don't have that many and because I figured others might be in the same situation). Given the deck's mechanics I've called it Pipsqueaks on Steroids and this is what it should look like. (No repentance ftw :-s)
#5 Shaman Murloc Infestation: Bloodlust 23 dmg and win in turn 5 (example)
#6 ARENAS: Rogue vs. "wtf did I put in my deck" Warlock
Arena adventure time. I had a tough decision between druid, paladin or rogue and finally decided to go with the latter (next time I'm going druid provided the same pool). I must admit I had a less fortunate draft to pick from so I had to make the best of what was provided.
This video is basically the last part of an arena match where I went up against a "wtf should I go for in my deck" warlock. He was particularly happy every time he managed to wipe the board clean and he has done that several times this match. Luck of the draw ftw. I loled on that last draw.
#7 ARENAS: Backstabbing fun times
Backstab. Providing simple and effective solutions to your problems since Julius Caesar and Brutus.#8 BEST WIN IN THE WORLD!!! 28 HP + 12 armor Warrior vs. 2 HP Pipsqueaks Deck Shaman
This one must have really hurt! I am currently crying under the shower because I didn't manage to fraps this shit and I only managed to throw a bunch of print screens. A video ofc, would have been much more compelling and would have told the story much better. Lesson learned. :(
The summary of the following match is basically me playing a version of the Pipsqueaks on Steroids deck, where I encountered a Warrior that made me struggle for board control and survival, until... well, until this:
